I have been with AT&T for about 8 years. My 2yr contract with them has expired and now have the option of jumping to Verizon and the juicy Droid Incredible, but it might be hard to do so if the cost is too much. I have two additional phones attached to my plan (FamilyTalk Nation 550 Rollover & Unlimited Night/Weekend & Unlimited Mobile-To-Mobile Minutes). I pay about $140/month for this plan plus the Smartphone Personal Bundle and a few extras. My questions about moving to Verizon are the following;

1) I know that I'll have to move the other two 'accounts' over to Verizon. So they will have to come with me to get new phones, right?

2) What comparable plan can I expect from Verizon, and will it be about the same price as what I'm paying AT&T?

3) Is there anything else I should be concerned/worried about when switching carriers that I don't know about?

verizons family plan has a minimum of 700 minutes, no rollover, free only to other verizon mobile phones.

700 minute talk and text plan is $99.00 / month for 2 phones, 3rd phone adds $9.99 / month and data plan for each phone is $29.99 / month.

so, 1 phone unlimited data, talk and text + 2 phones just talk and text is $140.00 / month.

I'm in a similar position (well, will be in July). Trying to decide to go verizon (incredible), or Sprint (evo 4g).

Sprint can get 3 lines with 1500 anytime and unlimited text for $110, and $30 for a smartphone data on one line for $140. A lot more minutes than verizon for $140

You said that you are now month-to-month but what about the other lines on your account? Are they still under contract? Have they upgraded recently? If so you will probably have to pay an Early Termination Fee for each line that is still under contract.

No, they haven't upgraded their phones ever. My mother-in-law and wife's aunt only make phone calls with their phones.
