right now i got a 30gig quantum 7200 ata66...i want to get a raid 0 going cause i don't want to pass up the 30 off 150 at buy.com...my question is, should i back order an identical 30 gig quantum or go with an 30 gig ibm 75gxp which is ata100? i know the ata100 part would be wasted since i've got a ata66 in there...should i stick with another quantum or go the the ibm?? any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks much

for raid-0, it wont make much difference having either drive...
go for what you like best...
I'm getting 4x 41GB IBM 75GXPs in about a month... should be absolutely sweet to run them in RAID-0 :)

Edit: oh, also, if you want the speed improvement if you get the ATA/100 part... put it on its own channel (or with other ATA/100 devices), you will need ata/100 cables though...

get whatever is cheaper. just remeber that your hard drives will only run as fast as the slowest one
