Howdy ATOT,

I've been a long-time lurker and posted little, so most of you don't recognize me except maybe from HT. Anyway, I don't even know if this is the right place now with the new forum setup but I just wanted to toss this out there: I'm currently on a trip around the country touring on my bicycle. My journal is here:

Anyway, if anyone was looking for something to read you can check it out if you feel like it. It's been a blast so far, heh. :)

Best wishes!

Sounds great!

What do you do for Bike security when sleeping in the tent?

BTW, Page ten has a picture with "The poopy fields" as the caption. Pretty sure it's not supposed to be poopy, but Poppy... :p

If you read it, it is indeed "Poopy;" I do not make speeling errors. ;)

Not sure what you mean by clipless - just straight up platform pedals, no aids? I like the cages to keep my feet in place and to help with putting extra energy into the bike as it makes everything more efficient. I didn't want clips because then I'd need special shoes and I didn't want to bother with it - plus they'd be expensive.
