Well my virus month long vacation is coming to a close this Sunday.
:(
I had fully paid Furlough for the first two weeks and then took vacation for the last two weeks. My employer is providing required N95 Mask and nitral gloves to all employees while at work and is forcing the distancing rules. It is going to suck getting 4 assembly lines and their support equipment up and running after a month of sitting idle.

Actually I think I'm ready to go back. Even if my wife wants me to stay home.

Your wife *wants* you to stay home????

I retired about 2 months ago, and my wife has (quite often) wished I was going back to work. I was planning to get some sort of part time retail job for 20 hrs a week or so, but that is pretty much out too due to the corona virus.

I assume you have to wear the mask and gloves during the entire workday? I worked in a lab for many years, and it gets old fast, especially wearing gloves and taking them off/on to answer the phone, go to the bathroom, etc.

Work hasn't stopped, just not going to the office.

Busier than ever - and as of today, offices will not reopen until June 1 at the earliest.

Distancing is a joke. Hvac blows crap around for more than 6' and keeps the particles in the air.

Your feel good message of the day.

Yes she said tonight that she wished I had at least another week off... Hey what can I say I spoil her. LOL

I'm an electronics tech for automated assembly manufacturing lines in a clean room environment. The nitrile gloves are normal when actually working in the assembly line. Mask is going to be a pain in the ass.

I'm tired of staying at home... I'll get enough of that when I retire soon. I'm only 65 years old. :)

I still need to go in the office, kinda working partially at home and partially at office. They want at least 1 person there 24/7. Was nice working from home while it lasted but I'm back at the office now for next little while. Might still get to work home if this last's longer than another month though, depends on how the next schedule will look like.

Being at the office alone during the day is interesting though. At first they were not letting managers work from home at all but now they are so the boss is gone too. It's basically like a night shift except I don't have to actually do everything.
