Going Back to Mavericks from Yosemite?

I received my new 2013 MBP a few days and it's rocking Mavericks at the moment. I'm itching to try out 10.10 but want to be able to revert to a clean install of Mavericks if needed.

I tried downloading the 10.9 installer from the App Store, with the hopes of making a bootable USB with Mavericks on it. However, it shows as being unavailable.

I could do an internet recovery, but I'm not certain which version of OSX would be reinstalled. If I upgrade to 10.10 will the internet recovery just re-install a clean version of Yosemite?

I use Carbon Copy Cloner to make a full image backup. I use a dedicated HDD for the image and can boot directly into it. Makes it so easy. I've been using Yosemite since it was announced through the dev program. I don't see any reason why I'd want to go back.
