Going back to college. How do I get my brain back in gear?

I'll be going back to school in the fall and I was wondering what the best way to get my brain back in gear is. I am 26 now and haven't been to school since I was 19. It'll be junior college for a couple of years and then hopefully the University of Chicago or somewhere else in the vicinity. I can't tell what my major will be but right now I'm thinking business, some form of comp degree, or and astronomy/physics degree. I've been doing a lot of reading on Astrophysics and Cosmology and can't get enough. Any great reads out there besides the obvious "Brief History of Time" which I've read twice now? I know I'll have to take the placement tests and hopefully I won't have to go back to kindergarten. Thanks in advance! Matt

Smoke lots of pot! Practice your keg stands! Start staying up until 5 AM playing Playstation. I would even unplug the phone and practice calling home and begging for money!

Hahahahah... good luck... did the back to shcool thing after the army... What a change of life!

Did the army thing and then went back to school, my advice is too concentrate on schoolwork, don't work you will need the extra time to get back into the swing. Good luck

Just jump in, don't try testing the water with your toe first :) I went back last year at 25 and just said this is what I'm going to do and did it!

I'm also going back to school. I just got out the ARMY , about 4 months ago. The best thing is that the state pays for the courses and I don't have to touch my MGIB.
