Going away for the holidays, can I take my wireless router with me and hook it up and my parents?

Is it as simple as disconnecting the wireless router from my primary residence and connecting it to the broadband connection at my parents without having to reconfigure the wireless settings?

Basically it should stay the same.

However you would need to adjust the WAN login to log to your parents broadband account.

If this adjustment would entail Resetting the Router you might need reconfiguring again the Wireless.

Before you discon the router from your setup save the configuration settings as a file. My Dlink lets me do that and I'm sure all the others do too. Then when your back from your visit you can just re-load the settings and be on your way.
