Goin to Jamaica and want to take with a camcorder. ANY SUGGESTOINS??

Well it's Spring break time and I don't want to have to try to remember what happened so I was hoping to bring with a Camcorder. The only thing wrong with this is that they're so damn expensive. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a less expensive solution that would withstand a little wear and tear.
