Goin out to the West Coast to visit tech companies...what else should I do?

Plan on hitting up MSFT, Amazon, Starbucks and T-Mobile in Seattle (just networking and meeting people rather than actual interviewing) and then the tech club is meeting with recruiters and alums at a few Silicon Valley companies after.

Anything else I should try to do while out there? I probably won't get much time for touristy stuff, but I'd like to spend a couple of hours taking in the sights. Some people from the club are planning on Tahoe...I've never been, but I might just spend my weekend in the city instead.

Go to Muir Woods which is north of Frisco. You can also head down to Carmel or Big Sur.
Santa Cruz is cool too. All depends on what you want to do.

Sounds like an extreme bore.
