I live in Sunnyvale which is 15 miles north of SJ. I know I would miss it here if I left.

I do love the central coast though. Santa Barbara/Goleta are beautiful towns.

I was in Sacramento a week ago and the gas prices were actually pretty cheap compared to Vegas. Not sure if its different on the coast though.

i still love san jose, but i live in a slightly less crazy part of it, so it still seems the same. plus i've had the same neighbors for over 10 years, so that helps.

i went to high school in sunnyvale. awesome all around... loved it up there.

Welcome home. In spite of the problems, Kahleeforneeya is still one of the best states to call home...I'm in the central valley, and in 2 hours or less, I can be at the ocean, or in the mountains and snow...

Property taxes are actually lower here than in many states.

Used to live in Lompoc (Vandenberg) - Wife's Mom & Stepdad moved to Pismo Beach from Arroyo Grande.
She still has relatives in Moro Bay/Los Osos.

I use to miss San Jose too until I went back 2 years ago. It's gotten way to crowded . Now San Jose of 15 years ago was a great place.
