Goggle search returning incorrect search results..

Everytime i search for something with google, in both Internet Explorer and Firefox, the search turns up incorrect results.. It displays the correct headline as it were, but the web address below always directs to some marketing sites..

I've tried scanning for spyware, viruses, emptied the IE cache, the only thing i don't want to do unless necessary is delete the cookies.. Is there a chance its that? Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Here is a screenshot of my badly described problem.. Click

Definately looks like there is some adware on your box (or your dns is being redirected and your not really at google).

Did you try your AV & free Malwarebytes in Safe Mode?

No i haven't tried them in safemode. Perhaps that would be a good idea.. I'm using SuperAntiSpyware, is that a decent enough scanner?

Super is good, but if you still have trouble bytes might find something.

Used this, it found some extra ones that Super missed, but its still happening? Anyone have any other suggestions?

Check your hosts file in c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc and see if an entry has been added for google.com, or uk.google.com.

Theres a file names hosts, but if you mean open it, i can't because theres no file extension. I don't see an entry for google in there.

I would post a hijackthis log at one of the security forums that has specialists in reading them like virtualdr of wilderssecurity. you could also try uploading the log to here but be really sure before you change any thing you can cause terminal problems with improper use of hijackthis.
