Just an update for those who remember gogamer.com, where we used to buy a ton of physical copy games for good prices.

Eventually the digital competition - Steam - and maybe Amazon got to them and they unexpectedly shut down.

They had message saying they were planning a re-launch, and then just a logo for a long time - but now for the first time the site is 'for sale' (with no contact info?).
 
Sorry to see it go. Use to get great deals from it.

My 1st Razor mouse was purchased from there at a bargain and instantly became my favorite gaming mouse.
 
good site for hardcopies as it seemed the remainder of the world wasn't so retarded in going all out digital.
 
They were great around 2005? before Steam got so big and Amazon moved into video games. After that I never had a reason to buy from them, especially once I had Prime. RIP.
 
I bought so many games there.

For about a two year period I checked their store weekly. I think I stopped when the steam sales started to become ridiculous.
 
Gogamer was great for games that Steam and others never had go on sales such Brothers in Arms and some other not mainstream popular but still good games. I miss the site. 🙁
