Overview
Who will earn your allegiance? Who will you betray? Who will you eliminate? What path will you take in the World of Darkness?

Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines delivers a new type of RPG experience, one that blends all the core elements of a traditional RPG with the graphical richness, immediacy and brutal combat of a first-person action game.

The game plunges players into the dark and gritty vampire underworld of modern-day L.A. as a creature of the night.

Players will develop their character?s powers, interact with other characters and embark on story-driven quests as they battle mortals and other vampires with an incredible array of vampire powers and weapons.

Powered by Valve?s Source Technology, the same game technology used to power Half-Life 2, Vampire: Bloodlines is being developed by renowned RPG developer Troika Games and is based on White Wolf?s popular Vampire: The Masquerade pen-and-paper RPG series.

IMO, if you liked Deus Ex, you'll like this game. There are different ways to do things and you have to figure things out for yourself. Good price..

I finished it last night.

the 1st 75% of the game or so is really good. After that, it turns into a hack and slash game. I was already somewhat disappointed that it wasn't a true RPG in the first place, but that made it even worse.

That along with being full of bugs and horrible performance issues really hurt it. Could be a really good game if patched, and could be a great game if they release an expansion pack that doesn't dissolve into a hack fest by the end of the game.

I liked the first Vampire game, and was watching this one closely. I'll probably wait until they've issued a couple of patches, though. Nice price for a two week old game.

Does anyone know what the difference is between this "full english import edition" and the regular edition?

Any differences would be cosmetic in nature like a DVD case vs. cardboard box. $39.99 this week at Best Buy - $5 Gamer's Gift Card coupon. Just another option.
