Ha ... I've had a copy of this game sitting on my shelf for a long time. I should sell it, though I really only ever sell locally. Haven't played it in over 5 years.

Easily in the top 5 of games of all time.

No game has done storytelling as well as Planescape.

Grabbed it as soon as I saw it, amazing game, if they would update the sprite work and give me the option to run it at 1920x1080, I would easily pay $50 for it all over again.

Since I have never played this game or Baldurs Gate, I think I will pick those two up from GoG this weekend. It might cut into my Eve and Minecraft time though.

Nice, though I have the original boxed version and a jewel case version too.

It's in my top 5 RPGs.

Anyone here have this yet? Planescape Torment never had working EAX on Windows 7 x64, wondering if this GOG version is any different.

From the Forums, it doesn't look like EAX works so far.
Thanks.

It's strange, the Icewind Dale series doesn't work either, all Black Isle developed games. These are the only games I have run across that don't work with alchemy, and all by the same developer. What the hell did they do so different. :hmm:

What can change the nature of a man?

My favorite RPG of all time. Probably my favorite game of all time.

Just a note to everyone who's thinking on buying the first time. There's a LOT of reading in this game. A complete novels worth in fact. (Better writing than most novels BTW) Just be prepared to sit down for an evening of reading and little combat and puzzle solving. The reading is required, and it's fantastic. Like I said in my earlier post, storytelling hasn't been done this well before or since.

That said, it's still in my top 5. Near the top. I've solved as a muclebound meathead, a genius, and a charismatic schmoozer. Never tried primarily as a thief yet. I'll do it sometime. All completely viable paths with a lot of differences on how you play.

What a great game.

5,000 pages of dialogue. that's almost over 9000!
