GOG has all of their D&D games in a collection for $21.10. I don't think there's a better $/time spent on anything else ever.

I have most of these on CD / DVD too, but will probably bite on it just to get fully-patched and compatible versions and the couple I'm missing.

If you've thought about (re)playing Neverwinter 1 and its user-created modules, it could be worth it just to avoid the 11,000 patches you must download to update a CD install.

Steamable?

No, this is DRM-free Good Old Games. No DRM needed, you download full installs and can use them whenever and forever.

GOG is owned by the same company that makes The Witcher games. They offer a lot of other classic games like Master of Orion, Fallout 1-2, etc.

Inferno hot. I own the BGs and NWNs and Torment, but not having to look for the discs...

And crap, I just blew my 6,666 post count number. Ah well.

Damn! I just bought Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition on Steam (on sale), but this is a better deal, and has a lot of other games...

I bought the Ultima VII collection on GOG last year, and that runs great in Windows 7 and Windows 8 (64-bit). It uses DosBox for those games - I had to tweak the DosBox ssettings them slightly to get the frame rate I wanted, but that was easy.

FYI, GoG does a good job of giving you extras with the games. For example, with Planescape Torment they have downloads for the manual, soundtrack, wallpapers, and a novelization based on the game text by Rhyss Hess (PDF format).

Registered and bought the pack. I own Baldur's Gate 2 and Icewind Dale 2 in CD form but never played it. Now I can install it on my ultrabook and hopefully get around playing it.

i caved and bought the pack last night. i figured not having to use 5 discs to install a game was worth the 'convenience' fee.

Logging in to buy this, I discovered that I owned Arcanum. Should probably play that at some point.
