Star Trek premieres on GOG.com
Live long and GOGbear.
Sci-fi fans and Trekkies of GOG.com, we've got you covered: we're beaming Star Trek straight onto your computers starting now: it's Star Trek's turn to shine on our digital store shelves! Today, we boldly go where no store has gone before, with three of the greatest Star Trek classics ever made premiering digitally, right here on GOG.com!
--Star Trek: 25th Anniversary
The smash-hit action/point-and-click adventure that has you play as Captain Kirk himself. Take command of the Starship Enterprise and lead your landing parties to mission completion.
--Star Trek: Judgement Rites
The sequel to the smash-hit 25th Anniversary, with more and better everything. The five-year voyage is about to come to a grand finale.
--Star Trek: Starfleet Academy
It's where legends are born. A choose-your-adventure space sim, complete with live-action sequences with star appearances by William Shatner and George Takei.
Beam us up, GOGbear! We're one a voyage to trek across galaxies, and we're taking everyone along. Today is the beginning, who knows what the distant future may bring?

So hyped for this. Played 25th Anniversary and Academy as a kid, never got far in them because I was too young at the time, and my physical copies got lost at some point. So it's cool to get the chance to play them again.

To those asking for Bridge Commander, Armada, etc, I'm sure that Good Old Games will trickle out more Star Trek games gradually, similar to what they did with Star Wars games as I recall. Though it might be more complicated for them to obtain permission to release the Activision Star Trek games than the Interplay games. In any case, I myself am looking forward to the Starfleet Command and Armada series hitting GOG. Star Trek games have been long overdue to hit digital distribution.

I remember 25th Anniversary. Got to some door that I couldn't open and gave up. Stupid door. Anyone remember the TNG game on SNES? I just liked to pick a fight and play space battle forever with a weak opponent. Doing damage control and stuff.

When they did other stuff, e.g. Star Wars, it was a few games at a time so there will probably be more to come.

In case you only played the floppy disk versions, these are the enhanced editions with voice acting by Shatner, Nimoy, Kelley, Takei, etc.

I haven't played these at all so I plan to get them despite the painfully dated graphics.

I wonder if it still has the hidden audio files in it?

Some really good ones in there like DeForrest Kelly saying; "I haven't had lines like that since Star Trek 1!" and one of Leonard Nimoy laughing.

Great news, I really loved these games and it would be awesome if they made some new ones with the Next Gen cast.
