GoG: 2014 DRM-FREE BIG FALL SALE!

Can't collect my second stamp for some reason, it apparently says its been claimed, even though I only have the one claimed from yesterday...

Log out and log back in from your GOG account and you will be able to collect the next "stamp".

There's currently an issue they're looking into.

You need to clear you Cookies and log back in, it should be available then - worked for me anyway.

What are these stamps and where do I get them?

Edit: never mind, found it. It's around the middle of the screen. Just click on the box to get a 'stamp'.

But, the sale lasts until the 25th. That is more than 7 days. Are they not going to do the stamps ever day of the sale?

This.

Now there may be another deal for additional rounds of Stamps, so you may have a choice.

But yeah, you've got 12 more days to get a total of 7 Stamps . . .

You could be right.

Because of the timer until each next stamp unlocks, I assumed that you must unlock and click all of them in the first 7 days (one each day). Also I assumed that the numbers on the stamps corresponds to the sale days (stamp 1 on day 1, stamp 2 on day 2 and so on).

I am buying way too many things from this GoG sale. I guess it's their reward for giving me Mount and Blade and Witcher 2 for free! 🙂

Purchased so far:

AI War Collection
Bard's Tale
Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy)
Jade Empire
Kingdom Rush
Star Control 1+2

Plus I bought Costume Quest on sale from them on Halloween.

A fair number of these will run on MacOS which is nice for my Mac laptop.

Today, Spiderweb Software is a daily deal.

These are some of the best old-style, isometric RPG's.

You get the entire Avernum and another series - 10 big games - as well as the first two of the new series, Avadon 1 and 2.

I waited a long time for a big sale and got Avernum for 'only' $75 plus $15 for hint books, for $90 - that was something like 50% off, at least 30%.

Now, all of the above is $7. Really a no brainer if you like that type of game.

One of the series is about a world with 'shapers', creatures they create who are usually slaves, a big bad government, your choices who to side with, and ethics.

Dammit, and all of them support Mac. You talked me into it. 😛
