Deliciously hot.

FYI, Godiva always clearances their holiday boxes (xmas, vday, easter, etc) starting the day after the holiday, so if you know you're not going to be able to present someone with a gift until a few days after the holiday, you'd be wise to wait and pick these up on the cheap.

Nevermind, I found the shipping info. $8 shipping for a $30 order :(

Not Hot, can go to See's Candies in the mall and pick up truly delicious candy for less than $1 a piece. And you get to customize your order however you want. And you don't have to pay shipping. Much better deal :)

There's a biglots out here that sells wide valentines day ribbon, perfect for replacing the godiva generic ribbon on the one I bought. :)

These are decent prices, however I do prefer my Lindt truffles. :)

For the expert chocolate shoppers: I visited the Lindt store in upstate New York a couple years back. They had two things I cannot find anywhere around the city, or even there own website. I couldn't even find them the very day I came back, so they were sparse to begin with.

1. 85% dark chocolate bar. They sell the 70% everywhere.
2. White chocolate bar with orange rinds & coconut(bigger then a normal bar). Not the white chocolate with coconut. Not the orange white chocolate.

I'm so hungry.

godiva..... all marketing, no quality. I have tried more chocolates than, well, let's just say I have tried a lot a lot of chocolates, basically every single one in NYC, and Godiva, of the known ones, is pretty much one of the worst. Only the G collection from Godiva, is decent. In fact, even the G collection is more like fancy candy than chocolate. Lindt has very uneven quality. However, the 85% and 70% are quite decent. The truffles are pretty terrible. I also rather enjoy the rather unsuaul Pear flavor chocolate bar. The bargain for decent truffles are to be found at Leonidas. For true true top quality, La Maison du Chocolat is my pick. For incredible fresh truffles, if you ever come to visit NYC, go to Kee's chocolate, the owner makes her divine creations right there in the tiny store, it will make you never want to eat second rate chocolate again. For pure chocolate, that's another long story. Amedei's Porcelana bar is my personal favorite so far, unfortunately I can only get it online. A specialty store here used to carry it, but no longer :( However, luckily, Zabars now carries some Domori chocolates which are quite amazing too.

I don't care for chocolate, but my wife does....doesn't matter what, she'll choke it down....

Recently got a box, gift I think from a relative, of chocolate's from Trader Joes... I think it was a 12pc Truffle set...honestly can't remember....for about $7

Anyhoo... she really realy liked them...better than Godiva, Candinas, and on par with some local shops that make their own here in Seattle.

Just lettikng ya all know.....and its the chocolate I'm getting her for V-day

cheers!
