Nope, that's not correct. Don Corleone told Michael that AFTER he realized Barzini was acting against them.
Don Vito Corleone knew that it was Barzini 1. because of how he acted at the conference and 2. Tattaglia could never organize the types of moves that were made against the Corleones (the most powerful family.) After Don Vito realized it was Barzini all along, he told Michael that the person in their own family (the Corleone family) who brings the offer of a meeting with Barzini is the traitor.

Don Vito Corleone knew that it was Barzini 1. because of how he acted at the conference and 2.
