i hate those macromedia fvcking installs where it downloads right from the web (flash and shockwave) and then tries to install the player. why cant you ever download the EXE file and then run that?

Stupid web install isnt working for me and I want to install shockwave.

does anyone know where you can download the EXE for install?
 
I hate that too. Java can also suck sometimes because the webdownload doesn't work and the download to EXE is corrupt. And I tried this on 2 computers.. 🙁
 
i just installed flash to firefox using the .exe. i didn't even get an option for automatically installing, only for the exe. didn't install "shockwave" though, only flash.
