Goddamn rock chips!

Lifer
so I was driving leisurely (doing about 65 mph) on the freeway. Suddenly, WHAM this suv next to me kick up this huge rock and it came flying towards my windshield..
What I heard was only the loud THWACK, and when that happened I was sure I was gonna get a rock chip. And yes there it was on the lower left windshield

there goes at least $100 🙁

I got THREE rock chips from one fvcking oncoming construction truck. THREE at one time. Not to mention I have only 1900 miles on my car.

They don't pay us that much. The better comparison would be that they never pull us over for a chipped windshield. 😉
Or you could always move to Alaska and play outside in -40 with me and my dog. 😛

What I REALLY can't believe is that you guys still have bikers up there, what with the weather and roads and trucks.

The summers up here are better than ANYWHERE. Mostly sunny with daylight 24/7 from May-Aug and 75-85 temps. Can you envision a better environment to ride a motorcycle in?
