Technically, it's 3 words. "God" and "it" being fairly benign. It's when you throw "damn" into the equation that it starts to get a little bit touchy.

Um ... the word damn ... when used in the wrong circles ... is a bad word.

IMHO - I say it IS a bad word, at least it offends me more than some other words I hear, even though you hear it on TV and lots of less offensive words are no-no's. Then again, what do I know?
