I dunno why, but i cannot set up dual display for my projector properly w.o installing the stupid CCC version :frown:

Neither are great.

When i had my 6800GT, it took me 2 hrs. to get dual display working properly with nVidia's drivers.

Now that i have ATi's, i am spending another two effing hrs.

The stupid thing is that i know how to set it up properly too...but it doesn't effing work :|

I got dual display working in 2 minutes with my GF4 MX4400. I think you're just a moron.

I wish i was just a moron.

The first thing that pisses me off about the Catalysts is that they auto set the primary display as DVI...which is my projector, not my monitor.

Then once i have set up primary display to be my monitor & projector as secondary, it auto sets the projector resolution as some stupid 848x480 rez, when it should be 1024x768. The best part is how it then refuses to allow me to change the rez of the projector. The slider has no other options available.

What exactly do you suggest i do with a non-adjustable resolution, bright guys?

I got it working last time after installing the CCCs, & i will get it working again, but it isn't as easy as it should be :roll:

in my experience, both driver sets suck. ones that suck a little less are the omegas and dhzeropoint drivers, but not by much.

I got it set up once again...just for some reason i cannot set it up properly w/o the CCCs installed

Does anyone know why the damn cli.exe has be running in the background for the CCC to open up?

I always disable everything uneccesary at startup...but when i did that for the cli.exe thing from ATi, the CCC won't initialize.
