You can receive spam on AIM? or any Insant Messenger Program?

What is this, why do they keep harrassing us, and invading our lives?

I would just die if I got spam for something I had a weakness for.

Nope, I've never been in a chat, and my profile is not visible, and still get the stupid SHAT! If you block them they just add another 12 numbers to the end of their name and send you another one.
 
If it's AOL's messaging program.. can't you warn them? If everyone did it, they'd have to spend 15 minutes opening up a new e-mail and User name. 🙁 I guess white lists are going to become inevitable for IM and e-mail.
