0-5 now. but the padres have lost 9 straight postseason games. (swept in 4 by the yankees, 3 last year to the cards, 2 so far to the cards).

lost to jeff weaver. dude was in aaa earlier this year. how come we can figure out the good pitchers (carpenter [in the season], webb, schmidt) but when we face a rook or a pitcher with a 5+ era he usually shuts us down. i went to todays game and it was brutal how they couldnt put hits together, not to mention the total lack of bringing in risp. if they are going to figure it out they better do it quick. im hoping chris young's streak of 24 straight road starts without a loss continues.

At least your team is not 0-9 this decade when it comes to elimination games. I'd rather have no hope at all than massive amounts of hope.

I've been a Dodger fan since I can remember (mid-70's...thanks dad!) and I'm to the point where I tell my wife I'll just be happy if they 1) get into the playoffs and 2) win at least one game.

Sigh :frown:

Compared to Chicago?? Buawhahahaha. 1 title in 75 years compared to numerous Championships for Cali Teams.

2 teams in Illinois vs. 5 teams in California.
