I created a pst file (clicked unencrpyted) and transferred some emails into the folder.
I wanted to copy the pst file for backup but for some reason it won't let me move it or copy it anywhere. Message says: "another process has locked a portion of the file."

What the heck can be locking it?


EDIT: PROBLEM SOLVED... I had outlook running...
 
Wrong forum?

Close Outlook, go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOURNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook, and then copy and paste it somewhere.
 
Make sure to close WINWORD.EXE too. I have had this process hang around after closing outlook and booger things up.
