How do you add users and what rights should different roles have?

Basically the lead programmer/db guru, the person that uploads templates that have been filled in (daily/weekly/monthly updates), and someone that may have access to the php/htm files.

So is this for GoDaddy webhosting? Sounds like you need read only access to the users but most people here won't know what you are doing exactly as imho godaddy isn't exactly a webhost commonly used.

I thought godaddy did a lot of business? IDK, I never used them.

To the OP. Are you referring to an .htaccess file for directory and file permissions? You're PHP Guru should know about it.

The domain host is GoDaddy. They are affliated with a web host.

The guy is going to get me the links and everything, but supposedly when he logs in there is a administration page with drop downs and you can type in who you want to be able to do what.

This is for a Home Owner's Association, so I explained that with the heated debates and change of board, the guy probably doesn't want to give all rights to everyone.

Problem with this kind of hosting is I am not usually a real admin and have no access to what I know works.
