So you're admitting no believer in these forums has attacked a non believer first?

I like cookies

I'll let God do the judging of your life. It's just my belief you're an ass. :)

admitting? I don't give a shit either way, lol...

You are using the word attack like it's actually legit. Attack? Modern Christians are like spoiled brats. Whine whine whine to get their way.

Oh no, a Christian called me an ass. You're so Christ-like bro, way to be!

And yet you imply I and other believers are deluded without proof. Your post is not only pointless, it is yet another example of baseless attacks of believers in these forums.

Did I? I merely showed a parallel with the same conclusion(perception of Reality).

Faith is not proof.

Oh ya, you're all such matyrs.

Please hold on, I'm going to prepare the lion pit and the crosses. It's called the fast path to heaven.

Neither is lack of faith proof it doesn't exist.

No "matyr" here or, martyr for that matter.

Are you now advocating believers should be put to death?

Beatings will continue til morale improves?

Either you're choosing to miss the point, choosing not to acknowledge it, are feigning ignorance, or really don't get it.

Christians in this country have it better than ever. Get over yourself.

What beatings exactly? Did some big bad non believer say he doesn't agree with you, or worse? maybe he called you stupid. *GASP* oh noez!

Oh goody, I'm eternally grateful for not being fed to the lions. So, it's perfectly fine for my beliefs to be regularly attacked and ridiculed in these forums without provocation. Did I mention, your mother dresses you funny?

awww, you're so Christ-like. it's ok, you always have that cheap grace to fall back on. Why strive to be more like Christ when you can just ask for forgiveness later...

Lol, so, are you a 'yout ' or, just a troll? Maybe both? I wouldn't want to infringe on your right to preach intolerance while chastising me for my lack. You ridicule then try to instruct me on what my beliefs should be? Isn't that a tad disingenuous for someone who worships logic?

You're right, I am just talking for myself.

However, you can't deny that each belief is real to the individual who follows it.

Our beliefs and memories are all "real" for the individual that holds them, but putting faith in non-verifiable beliefs can be dangerous.

Reality doesn't care what any of us believe, it keeps going on according to its own rules. If we're smart we will take careful notice of what those rules are and adapt ourselves to them rather than expecting it to go the other way around.

Oh and to the OP, any god worthy of the title knows where I am, they don't need an appointment. I'm not willing to accept fragmentary messages whispered into my head, but if they appear in person, say in the form of John de Lancie, and care to have a chat with myself and several other people at the same time I would be willing to hear them.

It would depend on who is representing God.

Pat Robertson? No fucking way.

Morgan Freeman? Hell yeah!!!

So you choose not to follow the teachings of Christ because others ridicule you? That doesn't jive with the teachings of Christ.

You are claiming to be a Christian, but you don't act in such a way.

I'm not a "yout" or a troll. And you are not Christ-like in this thread. Before you go around claiming to be Christian, maybe you should evaluate what you really believe and go from there. Cheap grace and insults are no way to win people's souls.

This is an internet forum, get over it. You'll never win souls with the holier-than-thou attitude.

Given your history, I'm disinclined to give you the benefit of the doubt. Judgemental I know but, I'll ask for forgiveness later. :)

Regardless of all this, Believing something to be Real does not make it Real, even if they really really Believe it to be Real.

Ok, no. You are trolling hard, and it hurts to watch. Too many people these days think all you need to be a good troll is a bad attitude, but there's so much more to it than being the most obnoxious asshole. Learn some subtlety, dammit.

Might want to ask for a simple feat to proof that you are in fact dealing with an omnipotent being that is good. For example ending all rape worldwide. Should be easy, right? Unless it's one of the billions of other gods that aren't omnipotent, or it's not a god at all, or is plain evil.

I am not the one with a "holier -than -thou " attitude.
I am not trying to win souls.
Your opinion on what is Christ -like is not important.
You have trolled from the very beginning.
You are not nearly as good playing word games as you think you are.
You are boring me.

Each individual has a perspective that is legitimate as a perspective, but perspectives are not tangibly real unless they happen to line up with objective reality. Not every facet of objective reality is knowable by any given perspective, but that doesn't mean those facets don't exist or that they are can be whatever we want them to be.

I believe that to be false. There can be no "objective " reality because all experience is subjective. A reality shared by many people doesn't make it any more objective. People do indeed choose their own reality.
