God of War 3 for PS3 confirmed. The devs mention vibration, so it seems like new sixaxis controller with vibrating function will be released. Also mentions a possibility of co-op mode.

That may be the only reason I can see to get a PS3.

Finally got the game from ebgames this morning at 10:15am! Much to my surprise there was a line of people at the door when I got there at 9:55!

This game is absolutely intense! The action is non-stop, the graphics are great (FMVs are also stunning), and it's nice to finally continue with the story!

Also, I think I'm the only person who didn't like God of War... I hate games that make you push a button (nicely shown on the screen) at a certain time, instead of figuring out some strategy and simply executing it. I disliked that same change in the transition from Kingdom Hearts 1 to Kingdom Hearts 2.

picked mine up today for $27 at Best Buy 😀 (rewards credits). had problems with the movies locking up, got past first boss, then my analog function locked up. 🙁 maybe it's time to clean the PS2? I've had problems over the last couple of years with it playing DVDs too...anyone have any suggestions?

thanks for the links. I've been meaning to clean it for some time.

Also...a few months ago management re-glazed, and neglected to cover all of my components. most of the apartment was covered with a fine, adhesive, dusty/latex/paint substance. really pissed me off. I bet it got into the playstation as with most of my electronics
