So ya, My hard drive that I had EVERY thing on. My "Back Up" drive.




It broke.




Edit: On the plus side I just got my X2 3800+. It's really nice.

It let me know I was F***ed twice as fast as my old Winchester.

DVD backups, woohoo!

My backup drive just failed tonight... 've only got about 1/2 the baby pictures backed up on DVD, and I'm scared to tell the wife...

RAID and offsite backups! Weekly tapes to your safe deposit box.

Yeah... I haven't exhausted the possibilities yet.. it might be tied into a power issue I'm having since I installed an IDE Controller card and a new 150 gig drive for TV shows... but I'm about to start in on the new B-star galactica, and honestly can't be bothered... I'll sort it out.. Bios has a hard time recognizing it accurately so I'm a little scared...

 
Well you said it was a backup drive. Backup usually implies a SECOND copy of data you have elsewhere. So where's your main copy? If that was your main copy, then it wasn't backup. 😉
