I just found out about this, but apparently it's been common knowledge for some time. There is a hidden feature within Win 7 where you can transform a folder into a centralized location for most of the system's control settings.

Simply create a new folder anywhere, and rename it -
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}

The text part in the beginning can be changed. The folder will display a new dashboard icon.

It does not do anything unusual (secret configurations) it just puts few of the configuration that are available in Win 7 in one spot.

I didn't say anything about unusual secret configurations in your forum.

it would have been a godsend for winxp, but honestly i remember learning about god mode for win7 and i simply never found a use for it. everything is so easy to access in win7 that its never annoying to just use the normal menus.
