Cheap is relative...we pay more in electrical bills for increased A/C use...but at a lesser rate than PG&E customers...

BUT, our housing is still more expensive than many parts of the country. (or was until the meltdown) 🙁

We talked about giving it to Mexico along with parts of Cali for other reasons then you think but I am not sure they would even want it.
