AC'ed platforms, all automated escalators, platform screen doors, timely and fast quiet trains, damn i cant list all the nice things (except the crowds)

in nyc this week, its about 120F (probably like 42C im not good with conversion) in the platforms, and the trains are never on time

i'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that just maybe lots of people have it way worse than you. Like not even being able to afford a place to stay, a ticket on the subway, or a computer to even steal the WiFi with.

You get to live in Hong Kong for $250?? I think most of us would kill for that! Who cares about the crappy pay, you get cheap rent and think about the great experiences!

It would suck if you are making $750 for the rest of your life, but if you think of it as a short term experience, I don't know why you would even complain. Sounds like life is great for you.

Hell, I 'm chinese and I have never even been out of this country. Sure I have a lot of money, but I didn't get to enjoy all the great experience. No stories to tell, nothing. All I have is money.

If you believe the bible is fiction, then your life is without purpose. You're just wandering around the world, not knowing what you're here for, trying to find "logical explanations" for everything, refusing to accept the truth. Is that what you believe? Read the bible. God cares for everyone equally. God exists outside of space and time, and we simply cannot comprehend the way he works, but he cares for everyone equally, although yeah it gets annoying hearing people b!tch about how god is treating them. I says God is teasing me, not testing. I was getting all these false hopes and then bam, anticlimatic results. I don't mind being a failure the whole time, I am used to it. But bring me up and then pushing me down sucks!

Only teaching assistant can fit into my schedule. I told them I am capable of doing full-time TA while studying full-time during the interview, but they still gave me a part-time position. It's $750 a month, I only work 20hours a week I think. It's a 12month appointmenets (sept 1st to next year August 31st. maziwanka, are you exchanging to University of Hong Kong?

I can still pay for that rent, but I won't have money to do the fun things. The apartment it's an old building with no elevators. His parents own the home, so that's why he is giving such a good deal. He just wants me to move in with him.

Finally my internet is down and have to resort to stealing wifi. The new computer that I am building doesn't power on and currently have become a desk for me to put my monitor on.
