Just when my life is going to the right direction, I am getting fvcked in every possible way possible.
The University of Hong Kong hired me as a teaching assistant, but they only gave me a part-time position. They think it will be too much work for me because I will be studying full-time. Well that part-time position pay is complete ass @$5554hkd (equivalent of about 750usd). I was so planning to move out with my friend. He hooks me up with a sweet deal at 2000hkd rent a month (that's 250USD a month, in Hong Kong!). Now I don't know if i can afford to move.
Tuesday I was supposed to meet an old friend of mine. But She said she was busy and find another on Wed or Thurs. Of course I was pissed and blew her off. Now I am sitting here at home b!tching about it.
Oh and there's a typhoon that wouldn't go away in Hong Kong. It broke my exercise cycle. Instead of running and doing pull-ups, I am munching on my snacks and drinking soda.
Finally my internet is down and have to resort to stealing wifi. The new computer that I am building doesn't power on and currently have become a desk for me to put my monitor on.
The subway here blows chunks too. I had to wait in line for 20min to get on a freaking subway. Here's a pic of the horror (might be the only redeeming value of this thread)
