I just got my viewsonic G90FB monitor back from an RMA...and again this monitor is defective! All I get is a clicking noise when the power is on, no picture or anything! Man I am not too happy...I live on the east coast so it's 5 days per shipment to CA...on top of that I have to spend an hour of my time going to the shipping station. So i'll be at least 2-3 weeks without a gaming monitor again. What a crock of ***!

I think viewsonic has a serious quality problem is what I think...2 in a row? A lot of people seem to have problems with their products being defective and on top of that they lie (to the extreme) about their lcd monitors specs. **** ***** ****!

angry and hungry :(

it seems to be like that with every manufacturer of crts these days tho...since they sell them for so much cheaper now than they used to, they have done a lot of cost cutting. So there are a lot more defective units.

Time to breath fire and chew someone a new hole when you get back on the phone with Viewsonic. They should bend over backwards to resolve this problem. Maybe even an upgrade for your troubles!

What's an advance RMA? I can't buy monitor like that at any stores where I live, I have no choice but to buy online.

An advanced RMA usually requires a CC. They charge your CC for the full purchase price. You ship the bad item back to them. When they receive it you get a refund.

I've got the G90f; I've had it for a couple of years now and couldn't be happier with it. It still seems to work as good as the day I first plugged it in.

Oh well, better you than me, I say. :p

They send you a new/refurb monitor, and when you receive it you send in the defective one.

The 4th one is going to be sent out after Xmas as I'm busy and don't want it caught up in the xmas shipping crazyness!

I have a KDS VIS-19is or something like that. Had it for like 2 years (manufactured 2002) and it works just fine.

All CRTs have dropped in quality, but Viewsonic are especially crap. I ended up going returning an A90f+ twice.

What happened to Viewsonic? I remember a few years ago their Crts were the best bang for the buck.

Well I opened up a new rma no problem and it'll be on it's way soon. So a little question for all the people who own this monitor..is it just me or can't it do text past 1024x768 without becoming a bit blurrry and even a tad hazy?
