Seriously, LET IT GO! Not to mention, I'm pretty sure a seller can deny your bid on his auctions. So your plan won't work. Just think of this as a lesson learned.

hard for me to let it go. It's immature of me to do this, but I'm going to see if a friend can use his account and buy out his auctions

That would make you a far worse ebayer and bigger ass then the seller.

Paypal actually is really buyer friendly. I think they rule if favor of buyers a LOT. I think you actually have a fairly good chance of getting your money back.

First of all, OP is acting stupid by wanting to continue with harassing the seller.

However, he got a defective product and should be entitled to his money back if it indeed was not his fault that the game was faulty. I don't see why just because he put positive feedback already that he is instantly locked out from getting a refund. Why is everyone giving him a hard time about that?

Yes he should have double checked/inspected the disc, but it looks like the seller would have claimed it was OP's fault regardless of whether he played it or not.

Because by leaving the feedback, he was signifying that the deal was done.

Agreed. Eat the cost, learn your lesson from next time.
