Im at work, its 10:33 mountain time. Been here all day, went to school at 6 until 9. Came back after class to migrate SQL 6.5 to SQL 2000.
This is our second attempt. We did it 3 weeks ago and seemed to be a successful migration. But one week later i get a page at 5am from our 24 hour call center and all hell had broken loose. So, we failed back to SQL 6.5. Boy did that piss a few people off in the company. Funny how the people who get the most upset have no dealing with computers and dont understand that the bottom line is they are machines running 1''s and 0's and sometimes those 1's and 0's break. Well we got new code from our programmers in California and our testers spent all last week running it through our simulators. All looks good.....
SO tonight its round II at 00:30. It should take a whole 15 min then i have a 40 min drive home. Thats why i didnt go home. Might as well sit here in my cube and surf and try to do my homework.
Im still bored... and getting tired.
