Every morning while listening to Howard Stern here in L.A. I hear commercials for this damn lawyer whose whole business is getting drunk drivers off. I don't know how some of these people sleep at night. I went to the web site and he brags about how he got people who even were on drugs (he doesn't say what type) off. Geez, what a low life.

" is ready to fight your case with extensive pre-trial motions, vigorous cross-examination of the prosecution's witnesses, defense experts, demonstrative evidence, photographs, videos, your testimony, testimony of any witnesses you may have and conducts thorough research, preparation and investigation in each DUI / Drunk Driving case"

well if you're stupid enough to drink and drive you're probably stupid enough to give this joker with the cheesy web site a lot of money.

Thats why you put a bullet in his head when he makes his way out of courtroom when defending a client of his that just killed your parents. Or you go after his family and make him suffer that way. Of course... I would never do such a thing.

A man walks into an elevator, inside is Saddam Hussein, the Unibomber and a lawyer...

The problem: He only has 2 bullets in his gun, what to do?

The answer: shoot the lawyer twice.

So you basically telling me that if your parents were killed by a drunk driver and this scum bag lawyer found a loop hole to free the drunk you wouldn't be pissed? I know I would and I would avenge my parents death anyway that I would see fit.

You know.. It amazes me that American people are so willing to become the victims. It happens all the time and the victims have to live with the incident the rest of there lives.

I'm sorry, but I would want revenge. And I will go down shooting if that needs to be the case.

And then you'd kill the drunk, and then you'd try to represent yourself in court, even though you know nothing about law, and then you'd lose, and then you'd go to jail for 25-life, and become Some huge guy's girlfriend, and your parents would be equally as dead as they were before you went and fvcked up your entire life.

trial lawyers are different than ambulance chasers..

Sort of like the Arch angel Gabriel and Lucifer...both are/were angels. One of them just has no heart, is greedy and the pure essence of evil.

This is a completely moronic thing to say, and I would have no hesitation in prosecuting you for first-degree murder if you did it. This is not the wild west, and the law says you don't get to murder someone who has wronged you.

Speaking as a lawyer, and a prosecutor, I really resent this kind of sentiment. I don't mind lawyer jokes, but to suggest that we all deserve to die is unfair and, IMO, unnecessarily mean-spirited. There are many different kinds of lawyers out there, and unfortunately the bad ones seem to engender such hatred that it spreads to all the rest of us. God knows there are some awful doctors out there (and probably carpenters and pipelayers and any other profession one might name), but they never seem to get the bad press that lawyers do.

The bottom line is that I have dedicated my entire adult life to serving the public, and it makes me sad that anyone would "wish death" for me because of my profession.

There was a guy who could do this real easy in New Brunswick, Canada IF he felt like it. He got a bad rep of taking his big fee doing all the paperwork then leaning over to you IN court and telling you " Plead guilty" He got a rather bad name for doing that. Best lawyer going other than that, we used him several times.

You know what? Screw you too. I am a lawyer who works to take criminals off the street as a federal prosecutor. My mother has been a lawyer for 23 years, and is known as one of the hardest-working, fairest judges in her jurisdiction. What have you ever done for your city, state, or country?

Too often, it is in the lawyer's best interest to drag it out and milk the client. It happens all the time, and I defy anyone to claim differently.

And when you do get a good lawyer, too often he/she is very busy and cannot devote the proper amount of time to your case, and you find yourself at the bottom end of their priorities.

I don't fault lawyers for being aggressive or for "getting criminals off." That's the system. I fault the ones who take advantage of their OWN clients, and it happens ALL too often.

Again, though, this pretty much totally ignores the fact that thousands of lawyers across the country work as public servants with no motive more selfish than a desire to better their communities.

Unfortunately Don, Lawers have this stigmata about them that was given by the ambulance chasers. Since all everyone ever really hears about is the lawer helping to sue McDonalds because their client is fat, or getting people off on loopholes. No one appreciates a lawer till they need one.

If a drunk driver is caught, they need to be toast. I don't want a lawer getting them out of it because the officer put the cuffs on too tight. frankly, the litigation I see nowadays is the lawers fault. A total generilization, but who else can I blame?

Like all professions, there are good lawers and bad ones. You are one of the good ones. No one here is attacking you.
