Why do people have AOL when they have internet service in the dorms?
No one knows. One of my older brothers pays for both cable internet and AOL simply because his wife loves using AOL. Don't ask... luckily, he can easily afford it. *shakes head*

breaking up with AOL is a rite of passage most internet users have gone through. fortunately for us, we did it about 7 years ago.

Yep. Same here. 8 years ago for me. Hey, AOL was cool once. Flat monthly fee, unlimited usage, and the best 56k connection in town. That was just a long time ago is all. Now they suck and are way behind the times, suitable only for the lowest of PC illiterates.

edit: and I remember that cancelling them was a nightmare then too... don't believe them when they say they'll give you a month for free. They'll say that... while they bill your credit card anyway.

WTF do you have AOL for?

HAD.HAD.

I HAD AOL when I was house hunting in FL for 3 days. I signed up for their "free" trial period, used it (at a motel), and cancelled (supposedly) the service online when I was through with it. Looking through my bank staements what do I see...'AOL, 23.95'

sh!t.......called them up, but because 2 months have passed, they're only crediting me for one month......fvckers
