God, hurricanes suck.

4th hurricane in six weeks now. Jeanne didn't hit my place that hard in Orlando, but my parents place in Palm Bay got hit really bad. They told me our screen porch is gone and one of the big oak trees is on the house, right where my room used to be.

I get here at work in Melbourne at 8, we had power. At 8:30, we lose it. Figures. Now we are running on generator power.

I fvcking hate hurricanes.

BTW: I love Florida, and I am not gonna move. So don't tell me not to move. I'm only ranting. 😀

waiting for the remnants here in NC today. We have been spared this year, but you guys in Florida have been hammered...

screw that....move!

This is where I was born and raised. I love it here.

But, my work asked me to move to DC. So we will see, I was up there last month and it was great. Who knows what I'll do in two years after I get my degree.

yup.
Didn't lose any trees this time, though 🙂

Frances and Jeanne hit near us, but they didn't do any damage to our house. Some parts of the neighborhood got messed up, but we were fine. Only problem was the power outages, down for 24hrs from Frances but only 8 or so from Jeanne.

At my place in Orlando, we didn't lose power; so I was happy. It just sucks that my university keeps on canceling school over and over again and then there's a shortage of gas everywhere. I may not be able to come into work tomorrow if I can't find gas today.

Oh, and all of these cleanup places are making a KILLING now, there's so many cleanup crews now it's not even funny.

Yes, and that's all that matters.

We have to go to our Cocoa Beach office soon....which is right on the ocean. I wonder how it is. 😀

Last hurricane, most of the windows were blown out. Let's see how it's gonna be this time. 😛

haha I thought it was the running gag when it came to Florida and recent hurricanes 😛
