Who will you choose?
Interested in your answers :D

I tried to make sure I covered all adequate reasons.

Results so far "in general" based on a sample size of 59 votes
28.8% of the people will be voting for Hillary.
22.0% will be voting for Rudy.
23.7% will be voting for whoever the 3rd party candidate is (whether a libertarian, Dave, or whoever).
11.9% will do a ballot write-in by wasting stamps or going to polls all in the name of exercising their right to vote.
11.9% will be sitting out the Presidential elections.
1.7% say voting in Presidential elections is a waste of time.

I am ineligable to vote in my primary, but I look forward to voting for Clinton in the general election and think that a Hillary v Rudy election would be amazing

on the other hand, I'd be just as happy to vote for Obama.

Then pick the 1st option.

Ron Paul said he "has no intention" of running as a 3rd party candidate. Any since he hasn't (technically) lost the Republican nomination (yet), why should he intend to do so?

If Paul's name is on my ballot, he gets my vote. If he's not, then Obama gets my vote. And if he's not on the ballot, I'll be appearing in the next Hatchet vs Genitals video.

Where's the "If it comes down to Hillary vs Rudy I wont vote at all".

Honestly, I hope Obama gets the democratic nomination. I'd vote for him over a third party candidate that I know wont win.

Pick the "Well then...I guess I'll be sitting this one out" option
It's there.

I would add that but the options are already too crowded.

In the poll I said I?d hold my nose and vote for Rudy, but it might just send me over the edge. Somewhat undecided if I could tolerate the situation, and might vote for anything third party.

Really just don?t know at this point, and hope I never have to make this choice.

I voted for Rudy with my nose plugged because I'd do ANYTHING to keep the Clintons out of the WH... but I'm too damn tired to interpret the poll results.

Can you provide with interim summaries as the thread develops? thanks...

I'd rather get the chance to vote for Obama...

Sure.
I will later on, not now though.
Right now only 23 people have voted and that's too small for a sample size.

Check my 1st post once in a while.

Changed Palehorse's quote to reflect my opinion. IMO Rudy is a metaphorical antichrist. It's hard to imagine someone I would support less than Hillary, but it seems we've found him. If the candidates were more benign then I might vote a third party, but keeping Rudy out is my priority, and that means supporting the only candidate who can win, and that is whoever the Dems front, and sadly that's Hillary.

Extremely dislike both of these candidates!

Should have had an option for Ron Paul, he's a better choice than both of those fools.

Ron Paul is finished. He isn't going to win the Republican nomination, and he has said he will not run as an independent candidate.

Am I voting for semi-liberal NYC Mayor Rudy (on social issues) or would I be voting for newly minted conservative Rudy. If it the former then yes I'd vote Rudy else Hillary.

This is probably a better option.

Even voting for Turd Sandwich or Giant Douche would be a better idea than Hillary or Rudy.

I'd get lobotomized and vote for Rudy.
I'd hold my nose, and repeatedly scrub my skin with a scouring pad and rubbing alcohol to stop feeling dirty, and vote for Hillary.

The "choices" we wind up with just keep getting worse and worse over the years.

That's not what he said. He said he "has no intention" of running as a 3rd party candidate.

I know you hate that because if he does do this, the Republicans don't stand a chance in '08.

Keep in mind, if you select the option "I'll automatically vote for whoever the 3rd party candidate is before voting for either hacks" you might be voting for Dave McOwen or anyone who shows up.

Last I heard, Dave was still trying to raise money to run a campaign since he couldn't afford the required $5,000 fee to file for President. ;)

Looks like thats exactly what we are going to end up with from the two major parties, the worst possible combination of their current candidates. I'll vote third party, then go home and take a shower. I certainly will feel dirty if those are the choices I have.

I disagree ..... I don't believe he is finished at all. I'm not sure I would vote for him, but he will definitely have a huge impact on the general election next year!

Given your senario I chose "Rudy for other reasons". The other reason being I really really don't wanna see HRC elected.

I'm hoping we see Obama as the Dem nominee (I'd be OK with Joe Biden too).

I don't know who I wanna see as the Repub nominee, but right now it's not Rudy.
