But my problem that is why should we have to do that in the first place....This is no isolated incident with a service like this. NO ONE seems to want to keep their current loyal customers, mobile phone service is the same...after each contract is up i switch to another carrier because i will always get a much better deal than if i had tried to stay with my current provider.
I actually tried the same thing as the OP a few months ago and it was ridiculous what they wanted to change me over to HD. I can get DTV with an HD for free if i were to switch over.
Veriozon tried to puillc rap with me not to long ago. my contract was up in like 3 months. well the sen tme a flyer for a new one. 1400 minutes and a new phone. Well it was the same price as i was paying for 900 minutes. so i called and figured i woudl get that.
they said i would have to get a new 2 year agreement. wich i said was fine. but we couldnt get a enw phone. i hated the phone we had so really wanted a new one. the lady refused to give me the new phone.
so i told her to cancel the new contract i would be going with T-mobil. she said ok and we hung up. 5 minutes later ti was verizon calling saying i could get the new phones if i got the service heh.
its bullshit that we have to threaten to cancel or actually cancel to get them. pissem me off.
If i have to switch to direct TV no problem. i read a few articles where they will be getting more HD channels then dish network.
