Ok heres what happened. Used to live in Quebec, Canada, but my parents moved to Ontario, I moved there with them for about 5 months or so, and the last month, my mom realised i never changed my birth certificate etc, so we paid about 100-200$ to get changed to Ontario. School starts 3 months later and I get a school fee of 912$! I go see the registrars office and turns out its because im an "out of provincer". I go get my stuff transfered back to quebec, another 100-200$, Go back, then they tell me, your not considered a quebec resident until you have lived here for a year! I paid extra just to get the papers ASAP.
Ive lived in quebec for all my life except for like 5 months or so cuz my parents moved! Is it right to charge me 1800$ EXTRA just because of that? 🙁
Cliff notes:
Lived my whole life in quebec, moved to ontario for 5 months, changed back to quebec, now my college is charging me 912$ a semester instead of 100, just because I moved to ontario for 5 months. Is that right?
Im pissed off!
