Why do kids have to swear in front of people? I can say f*ck, n*gga and other offensive language all day if I wanted to but I don't. I was walking out of CVS today and all I hear is "f*ck yea, n*gga!" And "sh*t p*ssy you f*ckin suck!" These were skateboard kids who thought they were bad assed because they were swearing in front of little children and the families that were going to their vehicles. That really pissed me off because little children shouldn't have to listen to that type of language. Those skateboard kids aren't hard. They are scared little puppies. I should pay an inner city youth $20 to f*ck with them the next time I see them swearing in front of people.

because they watch MTV and reality shows. I'm embarassed any time one of my friends swears in front of older people. IMO it shows your immature and makes you look uneducated. But apparently that's what's popular these days

Depends on the kids... or how they're brought up. I was taught not to swear and to respect others. Even with no parents around I didn't swear around children and families. It's just rude.

I miss the days when adults could square up kids on the street without having to be worried about being sued. See sig.

if a word doesn't exist on urbandictionary.com, you are not allowed to use it on these forums. Honestly, if it's not on there, then it's not a word 😀 (applies to slang words only)

so yeah, i dont know wtf a grom is either

If you don't approve (and I'm not saying I do), speak up. What are they going to do to you? At worst alert mall/store security.

What the hell are groms?

I had to tell my GF that she curses too much.

I thought I remember hearing/reading it was slang for a young surfer, but my friends and I use it to describe kids from like ages 10-15... I think it started from little snowboarding kids obsessed with how much "air" they were getting off jumps and my friend called them "groms."

Some of us still do. I haven't been sued, but I don't always get the intended response either. Some of these kids have virtually no respect for adults or authority. If they start cussing you out there really isn't much you can do since you can't reasonably put your hands on them.

i agree with the op, punk ass kids need to realize they are useless little sh1ts and a drain on society. That being said they should be grateful for what they got, not saying they have to kiss the ass of everyone older, but at the very least not act like they own the place.

not all kids are like that but the ones that are.. *cracks knuckles* if only it was the '50s

Not that I approve of what the kids were doing, but if you think about it, it is pretty illogical to have *bad* words at all. I mean, all they are is a organ flapping against air to compress it in certain frequency combinations. Why should any of that be *bad* by society? I could understand if it was some universal intimidation, such as a dog growl, but no one else that speaks another language will understand it. The words were totally(illogically) created by human society.

uh, so what? they're only words.

so what if someone spits on you, or takes a piss on you? It washes off...

that's totally different.

they weren't cursing at him, just near him. if the op wasn't there, the kids would have still been cursing.

if I was walking down the street and some random stranger spit on the sidewalk, I wouldn't care.

This is one reason why I hate children.

Edit: I am only 21 but it seems like 'kids these days' have no respect. (kid = person <18)
