Unrelated, but my feelings on bud are that the goverment is wasting it's time and our money fighting something they've tried so hard to convince people is horribly wrong for you. I find it hard to really understand how the new list of priorities in this country for the war on drugs are (in order of importance)

1: Medical Marijuana
2: Methamphetamines
3: Heroin

I obviously agree that 2 and 3 are a problem, but even if one was just marijuana it would still be a hilarious farce. The fact that it's MEDICAL, something that's proven to help people not suffer is even more icing on the cake. I find the sheer amount of propaganda and goverment sponsored programs that flat out lie to their viewers disgusting. If you want to ban 'harmful substances,' go ahead and start with alcohol and cigarettes.

The point is moot - you have a better chance of winning the lottery than you do getting any type of carry permit for a handgun in Canada (other than the one required to tote your gun to and from your range). Of course, "public figures" like certain government ministers are welcome to carry. :disgust:

On the bright side I think the loophole to carry as long as you get a private investigator's license/permit still works.
