My wife has saved my last bottle of JD, along with my company ID tag from a job I had about 15 years ago. The company was really bad to their employees. Apparently, I came home, downed the bottle, then went back to work and told my boss to go Fsck his beard. Needless to say, I burned a bridge. Suddenly, my life got better...much better. I got a great job right away. :D

Somtimes, as in that case..."all jacked up" ain't all bad. :)

Ah yes... Jack Daniels. Now with 3% MORE WATER!!!

If I want whiskey, JD is not my drink of choice, unless it is Hobson's choice. For it's price point, you can find better stuff at the liquor store, but not always at the bar. Although, that is changing, I have seen more Maker's Mark and Knob Creek around, recently.

It's only gotten worse as they continue to water it down. Pretty soon we'll be seeing JD in 42 proof versions.

Seeing as they didnt lower the price when they watered it down last time, it will take longer and be more expensive.

I agree it's good to shoot, it's really good but I'm a poor college student who can't afford it very often.

hah, brutuskend's billboard pic will make this sound odd, but...

my sister makes us all drink what she calls a "jackass" shot, which is about 3/4 jack daniels and 1/4 apple pucker

i'd rather just shoot the jack

If you like Jack you should try an "Apple Jack". 1/2 Jack and 1/2 Apple Pucker. It's quite good.

Wow. Cool story. Made me smile :)

On topic, Jack Daniels is good to shoot only when you've just started. That's why I can't really stand hard drinks. All I ever drink is dry red wine and beer.
