alright, so i'm eating this ham sandwich, so i give her a little ham, cause she LOVES ham. not thinking about it, i leave the room to show my dad something about the fridge... and two minutes later... i got back to my room, the cat had my sandwich apart, on the floor, and was chowing down on the ham

fscking cat

yeah, same cat i posted a nice pic of earlier this week (or was it last? i forget)

hahahaha!!

that will teach you to share food with your cat. She thought it was hers as much as yours once you did that. Never share your food with an animal. If you want to give them something special, put it in their bowl. Never let them stay around you when you are eating.

🙂

And no matter how long you had that cat, or how much you think he cared about you, he'd still eat your sandwich if he could get away with it. Nothing like a dog. Cats are souless devils.

I made the mistake of giving my cats some lunchmeat once. Now anytime they hear a wrapper similar to the lunchmeat they come in the kitchen and meow until I feed them some or scare them off. One of my cats now begs regardless of what I'm eating.

Moral to the story - give your cats only cat food. 😉

lol, this cat gets scraps a lot... usually in her bowl. i wasnt feeding her while i was eating, i paused for about 5 mins, then gaver her some. i thought she folowed me, but more like followed my food

Our cats do that. THey don't beg endlessly though, they'll rub against my legs and look at me.

my roommate's cat use to do that. a swift nudge/kick sent them packing though

I remember one time with the dog.

We were about to sit down to dinner (McDs) and Car #4 for that day took the ditch.

We went to see if they were alright.

When we got back, my dad's Big mac was gone 😛

LOL.

One time I brought one of those huge perkins muffins home, and I walked away for two seconds, and when I came back, the cat was trying to eat the muffin. So naturally, I try to get the muffin from her, but she grabbed it in her mouth and ran around the house in circles for about ten minutes. Did I mention she looked hilarious because this was a 12" long cat carring a 12" circumference muffin in front of her face? I don't know how she saw where she was going the muffin was so big. I will always regret not having a camera at that time.

I personally think people food should be for people, and pet food is for the pets. As soon as you start feeding cats, or dogs for that matter, your food while you are eating, that gets them in the habit of begging and trying to get at your food. I've never fed my cats the food I eat, and I can leave my food out without them going after it, or begging.

It can also be unhealthy to give people food to pets...
