I just got an email from someone here at work about one of the pages on the site I recently put up.

They say "it's so bad I don't know where to start."

Yeah, well, I don't either, so I'm not gonig to do anything to it, alright?

First off, I have descriptions, not definitions. Also - if it's inaccurate, would you care to give me accurate info so I could fix it, or do you jsut want to bitch and moan about it?

I wish I knew what it was that these people actually do here besides bitch abou the actual work that other people do. :|

yeah, i have the same problem with some customers. They just don't seem to realized that their screw-ups are not my responsibility nor do i really care about most of them (more specifically the asshats). I can be the most helpful person in the world until people start yelling at me, that's when all semblences of service just dissapear

click on "current issues" for the page this person is upset about.

Yeah, I know it's not that great, oh well. As you can see, I had a LOT of other pages to work on, and seeing as this one is basically nothing but a short list of links, it didn't get a whole lot of time devoted to it. I have no problems making it better if I get actual suggestions, but I don't jsut want to be bitched at.

other than a small errors i believe, it looks fine to me.. dont see what this person has to complain about. here are the errors i found:

Looks like a decent site considering the content. If you built the whole site then I give you your due, looks very professional. The only thing I see is the current issues is kind of plain compared to most of the other pages.

Must add that with this subject matter plain is probably ok, I mean what can you do with that information? You might want to add a space after the last paragraph so its not sitting on the bar.

If the user has a request to change something (inevitable given the scope of your site and the number of users) they should be courteous and explain themselves. otherwise, it is just some bitter little shrew who can't get a date or can't figure out how to do basic html so they take it out on you.

Are you responsible for the content of the page? Either way, I think it looks fine. The people giving you criticism should make suggestions on what needs to be changed. As a webmaster, the one thing I really hate is when people give you work but don't generate any content. My job isn't to generate content, it is to post and maintain content. *sigh*...
