I just got an insruance quote for motorcycles. I can insure my bike for 500 bucks a year, vs 5500 that I would pay in Canada. Talk about money in my pocket?

Ahh much to learn you have my son :) US insurance qualifies if the bike is kept in the a valid US zip code 50 % or more of the time. Since the riding season is like 4 months, that qualifies it :) Plus most of the riding is done there anyways, we don't have anything here but moose.

I find American customer service exceptional. Maybe because their customers are more lawsuit happy.

Is this because you're abandoning your tarnished driving record in Canada?

Why are Americans so nice and friendly?

I have a clean driving record, accident free, no tickets. Id be paying 4 times as much insurance for a motorcycle here as I would my car, and my car is worth more money...talk about GG they don't want people riding free rape.

I think he's saying it's only 4 months in Canada. He says most of the riding is done in the US.

Yup, 40 bucks a month public storage in Buffalo NY which is an hour drive. Imagine that, 820 dollars in total per year with storage, vs $ 5500 in Canada with no storage. In 4 years time I could buy a new motorcycle with the money I will save on insurance. Honestly you Americans don't even know how lucky you are sometimes.

That's $500 US and $5500 CAD right? If so it's pretty much the same price. Not a hot deal imo.

No, 4/12 means 66 % of the time it will be stored and kept in the US, if not more. Naturally I would call you a peon and tell you to go back to the burrow but today is I <3 America day, so, I love you.

Yes, motorcycle insurance sure is a great indicator of a country's performance. Considering it's a provincial matter, lol.

I changed that because a few months ago I had some secret spies and followers on here detecting my location, and doing crazy things. But that is correct, it is the place of birth, not the place of my citizenship though :)

Not a provincial, everyone gets raped in Canada, guys in BC are really mashed because they have a monopoly company there which sets whatever price it wants. Being in the GTA, I do get higher quotes than someone rural, but still, not enough to justify the insane costs. The country performs poorly, it can't even win a stanley cup as of late, wtf is that. Maple Leafs highest paid team? 40 year loss streak?

That's genius.

Um... but what the hell do you ride that costs $5500 a year? Is it an R6/GSXR or some liter bike and you're under 25? I think a Ninja 250 can be had for $3000-ish/year for someone under 25.

What do you mean No? I said 4 months it would be kept in Canada. That is 30% of the time. That means the other 60% of the time it would be in the US.

That's exactly what you are saying??? But you're saying I'm wrong? Learn to read, you silly wannabe canuck.
