WTF that ref is a idiot. What was the goalie expected to do? get a beatdown and not defend himself?
But fucking fun and well deserved.Once he knocked the guy down he was no longer a threat. Kicking him on the ground is just assault.

Oh sure, from his stance of dominance as he got up.... right. He could have fought through the CLOUD of the goalie's team mates, the security guards who were running out, AND the refs to deal that goalie a mortal blow.
The attacker wasn't unconscious, he was just on the ground. He easily could have gotten back up and renewed the attack.
Lurk more. The "CLOUD of the goalie's team mates, the security guards who were running out, AND the refs" were not there yet when the goalie kicked him. One person was almost there, the rest weren't. The guy could have gotten up, pulled a weapon, etc.
"Putting the boot in" after somebody is down is bad form anywhere.

Assuming that someone who is crazy enough to run out onto the field and attempt to kick you isn't going to try anything else is just stupid.
Keep reaching there. Guy is down, the 'victim' could simply move away much faster than the 'assailant' on the ground can. He put the boot in, looked bad, ref had to respond. Maybe he was a little color blind in his card choices, but the goalie competently kicking the crap out of some nutter looks bad.
They are liberal europeans. They don't believe in violence.
you have clearly never been to a proper football match (soccer for you americans)
